Anyone can do the fun Kauai activity of snorkeling. Many people bring snorkeling equipment with them to Kauai. There are two things required to get ideal snorkeling conditions. The first is having calm waters. Calm waters allow clarity, stability, and safety to your snorkeling. A protecting reef gives a home to all the tropical fish you want to see. Remember not to stand on or touch the coral reef. The coral reef is actually a fragile system and its fine to look at it but it can be broken. Kauai is a wonderful place to snorkel because it does have the great colorful tropical fish, clear warm seas, and a coral reef. Kauai has the most established coral reefs on Hawaii because its the oldest island. The best places to snorkel on Kauai for beginners are Poipu Beach Park, Lydgate Park and Anini Beach. Remember to evaluate the conditions before going into the water. Hawaii Snorkeling is a calm water sport and it is unsafe to snorkel in rough waters or alone.
